Train company losing $1 million every hour tracks are shut down
The train company whose train derailed near Valley Falls is losing $1 million every hour the tracks are shut down, according to investigators.
Meantime, one lane reopened on State Route 67 Friday, with alternating traffic.
The train carrying 100 cars derailed Wednesday night. Two train cars ended up in the river.
The train was not carrying anything toxic, investigators said.
No one was hurt.
