Trial begins for Schenectady County man accused of killing mother, partner

Jury selection is underway for the Schenectady County man accused of fatally shooting his mother and her partner in 2022.

Nicholas Fiebka, 21, is on trial for two counts of first-degree murder, tampering with physical evidence and weapons charges.

Fiebka is accused of killing Alesia Wadsworth, 60, and William Horwedel, 61, in Princetown back in November 2022.

Fiebka allegedly fired at least 44 shots in 30 seconds at the 1155 Reynolds Road home, according to investigators.

Fiebka had been trying to get a restraining order against her son.

He admitted to the killings while in jail, police said.
