Fundraiser in Troy to help young man involved in car crash

People in Troy are coming together to help a boy who was seriously injured in a car crash earlier this year.

In March, Dre’On Lewis, 13, was driving a minibike when he was hit by an SUV near 4th and Madison.

On Monday from noon to 7:30 p.m., Sabor Caribeño is hosting a fundraiser to make his home wheelchair accessible.

All donations and 15% of all food sales will go directly to Dre’On and his family.
