Police investigate suspicious fire in Troy
Police investigate suspicious fire in Troy that took place on Second Street near Tyler Street.
Troy Police tells NewsChannel 13 that there was a suspicious fire that happened early Sunday morning on 2nd Street near Tyler Street.
It happened shortly after 4 a.m.
Authorities say minor damage was caused to the exterior of the home.
No injuries were reported.
Police say that residents of the building used a bucket of water to extinguish the fire, prior to Troy Fire and Police arrival to the scene.
Troy Fire noted they preliminarily conclude that the fire is suspicious, and Troy Police Detectives will be working with the fire department as the investigation remains ongoing.
