Teen admits to owning machine gun
An 18-year-old Troy man has pleaded guilty to possessing a machine gun.
Ahmed AlSaadi admitted that on Aug. 2 that he possessed three machine gun conversion devices and a Glock handgun that had been modified to allow the weapon to shoot and function like a machine gun. He also admitted to selling the conversion devices from March to July of this year, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.
AlSaadi is currently in federal custody.
He faces up to 10 years in prison and a maximum fine of up to $250,000 when sentenced on April 16.
