Troy removing X signs from stabilized properties
Troy removing X signs from stabilized properties that are no longer structurally compromised.
Troy is removing the red “X” markings from four stabilized properties throughout the city.
The buildings are at 3229 & 3230 6th Ave. and 3209 & 3211 7th Avenue.
The signs were originally placed to indicate structurally compromised buildings.
The Troy Community Land Bank said on Tuesday that the markings are being taken down as a commitment to restoring and revitalizing Troy’s neighborhoods. The buildings have been stabilized and pose no safety hazards. They are ready for further development.
