Troy’s new alert system now active

The city of Troy’s new alert system was activated on Monday.

The system is intended to be used for emergency alerts, as well as non-emergency incidents that may have significant impacts to residents.

The system now allows the city to offer both email and text alerts.

If you’re already subscribed, and want only email alerts, you don’t have to do anything, your account has already been added to the system.

If you want to receive text messages, just update your account.
