Two people face gun, charges in separate Schenectady raids

Two people are facing drug and gun charges after Schenectady Police searched two homes.

Police searched a home at 841 Stanley St. on April 30 and found large quantities of crack cocaine, fentanyl and a handgun, police said.

David D. Brown, 55, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Another search happened at a home at 329 Paige St. on May 2. Police seized cocaine and two handguns, they said.

Karina Cotto, 29, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a weapon.
