UAlbany student badly hurt in dirt bike hit-and-run undergoes leg operation

Alexa Kropf, the UAlbany student critically injured when she was hit by a dirt bike in a hit-and-run last April, has now undergone a small procedure to her leg.

The operation on Tuesday was meant to help stimulate bone regeneration to hopefully avoid a more extensive surgery, according to the GoFundMe page set up for her.

Kropf will travel to Albany Medical Center next week for what will hopefully be her final brain surgery.

Her GoFundMe has raised more than $107,000 so far.
