Their new canning facility is in the heart of Albany’s warehouse district.
The 7,000 square foot facility will help the local cidery meet production needs.
The building is right behind Nine Pin’s current facility and includes an upgraded loading dock and a large walk-in cooler.
The hope is these changes will allow the cidery to increase production by up to 25 percent.
Nine Pin became the Capital Region’s first farm cidery in 2014.
Its tasting room is open 7 days a week and features a rotating selection of 9 premium and limited small batch ciders.
Nine Pin says its new canning plant was made possible by the national grid main street revitalization program.
