The Walk to end Alzheimer’s this past weekend was a huge success.
Roughly 1,000 people participated on a beautiful Saturday morning on the campus of SUNY Adirondack in Queensbury. A record $220,000 was raised.
This event started as the Memory Walk in Glens Falls in 2014 and has blossomed into one of the biggest annual fundraisers held in Warren County.
A moving ceremony before the walk recognized caregivers, those living with Alzheimer’s or dementia, and those who’ve lost someone to the disease.
