Water safe to drink after car went into creek near Tomhannock Reservoir
The city of Troy is reassuring people that the city’s drinking water is safe.

This comes after a can ended up in a creek Monday night that impacted the nearby Tomhannock Reservoir.
Emergency crews were able to pull the car out of the water.
DEC and the health department found that no contaminants made their way into the drinking water supply lines.
