Watervliet man charged in dirt bike crash due back in court Wednesday
The Watervliet man accused of striking a UAlbany student with his dirt bike is due back in court on Wednesday.
Austin Breyette, 25, allegedly was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic on April 27, just after midnight, when he struck and seriously injured Alexa Kropf. Breyette then left the scene.
Kropf had a shattered pelvis and brain injuries that required emergency surgery.
Breyette has been charged with second-degree assault and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, plus several traffic violations.
