Police in Berkshire County are investigating a series of bomb threats made against synagogues.
Temple Anshe Amunim in Pittsfield, Hevreh of Southern Berkshire in Great Barrington and Congregation Beth Israel in North Adams were all emailed threats on Sunday. Law enforcement agencies are still working to find out where the emails came from, NewsChannel 13’s media partners at the Berkshire Eagle reported.
Officials don’t believe the threats are credible, they said.
The three synagogues were evacuated and cleared. No explosives were found.
The threats matched other emails that were sent to synagogues across Massachusetts this weekend, police said.
