An Albany native is featured in the prestigious U.S. Army Best Squad Competition.

Staff Sgt. Ryan Cardiff is competing as part of the U.S. Army Europe and Africa 2023 Best Squad Team.

The week-long competition will assess each squad on their technical and tactical proficiency, as well as their ability to work as a disciplined and cohesive team.

Staff Sgt. Cardiff was selected for his leadership acumen and exemplifying U.S. Army values.
