Local Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh partnered with the American Red Cross for her fifth annual blood drive at the Ballston Spa Elks Lodge.

Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood for surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, or traumatic injuries, she said.
