Ryan Mowery is graduating this year from the Culinary Arts & Hospitality Technology Program at the Capital Region BOCES Center.
Students in the two-year program learn the skills necessary to enter the workforce as a chef or pursue additional training in college.
Mowery plans to continue his education.
“I am going to Siena for business. I might open a restaurant one day and I can use that knowledge,” he said.
There are more than 120 students from two dozen school districts in the program.
