Delmar teen who helps brother with special needs surprised with NYC trip

A Delmar teen who helps his brother with special needs got a big surprise on Wednesday.
Tristan Toriano is a member of the Bus Stop Club, a sibling support group, for siblings of chronically ill children, or children with special needs.
Tristan’s brother, Jude, has special needs. Tristan was surprised with an all-expenses-paid weekend in New York City.
Jude, is deaf, legally blind and nonverbal.
The Bus Stop Club says Jude’s condition limits Tristan’s abilities to join in on typical teenager activities with his friends and family.
He will see a Broadway play, stay at the Hard Rock Hotel, visit the Lego store, and lots more.
All of it will be at no cost to Tristan or his family.
