National Grid employees to help clean up cemetery

National Grid employees are volunteering to help out at a cemetery in Albany on Friday, as the volunteer groundskeeper battles cancer.

NewsChannel 13 has been reporting on the maintenance of the Evangelical Protestant Church Cemetery for several years.

About eight years ago, Christopher White transformed the appearance of the abandoned cemetery, restoring its beauty.

As NewsChannel 13 reported in March, White was diagnosed with Stage 4 melanoma, and is no longer able to take care of the grounds.

NewsChannel 13 plans to be there, and will bring you updates in our newscasts and on WNYT.com.
