There was a celebration of life this weekend for a young boy from North Colonie, whose sacrifice will help other children live.
Jaimison Hall, nicknamed “Jaimo,” passed away Thursday after a battle with multiple health challenges.
Jaimo suffered from a rare disorder he shares with his twin brother.
His heart will be donated to a 1-year-old child in Michigan and his liver is going to a 1-month-old child.
A “Walk of Honor” was held following the organ donation at Albany Medical Center.
Once the surgery was done, friends and family gathered at the Parker Brothers Funeral Home in Watervliet to celebrate Jaimo’s life, holding signs reading messages like “Live Like Jaimo.”
Jaimo was escorted by the Watervliet Fire Department and Watervliet Police Department.
