Local Saratoga County Sheriff's deputy honored for efforts to get people safe from impaired drivers.
Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Sheriff Thomas Phelan was honored with the “Recognition of Excellence Award.”
He received the award during the law enforcement recognition event in Albany on Wednesday.
He earned it for his efforts to keep the roads safe from impaired drivers, the sheriff’s office said.
