Free summer bowling for kids
Bowling is a great activity during the spring and summer months, especially when it’s free for kids! Spare Time in Clifton Park will provide two free games of bowling each day for children in the warmer months. It’s a way for bowling centers to give back to the community and provide a safe, secure and fun way for kids to spend time this summer. You can sign up at this link.
Green Island program uses pizza to get kids to read
Students registered in the Green Island School District have the chance to win pizza! It’s to celebrate the launch of the school district’s new reading program: “Green Island Reads!” The goal is to encourage K-6 students to read independently at their grade level. If a child completes the goal, they’ll be rewarded with personal pan pizzas and gift certificates from Spindle City Pizza in Cohoes.
‘Three Stooges’ festival in Berkshire County
There’s a festival in Dalton, Massachusetts for fans of “The Three Stooges.” Dalton United Methodist Church at 755 Main Street will host its annual “Three Stooges Festival” on April 14. There’s no admission charge for the event.
Saratoga Springs eatery gets national recognition
A local eatery will be featured on “America’s Best Restaurants.” Eddie F’s in Saratoga Springs is known for its seafood. “America’s Best Restaurants” travels the country, visiting restaurants you should eat at on a weekly basis! Eddie F’s is celebrating by giving away two $25 gift cards to celebrate.
