The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile will be in Lake George this weekend.
If you want to “ketchup” with the 27 foot long hot dog vehicle, it will be set up at the Lake George Winter Festival on Saturday and Sunday.
Attorney William Mattar honoring Black History Month
Attorney William Mattar is honoring Black History Month with a contest to support Black-owned businesses throughout the state. Businesses will have a chance to win $4,444 dollars to re-invest back into their businesses. Submissions will be accepted through February 20. Once the businesses have been submitted, the public will be encouraged to vote, and a winner will be chosen.
Capital Region Music Hall of Fame inductees
Eight people will be inducted into the fifth class of the Capital Region Music Hall of Fame in March in Saratoga Springs.
The group includes:
- Two members of a pioneering late 1960s and early 1970s alt-country band
- A nun who helped launch the careers of hundreds of music industry professionals around the globe
- One of the region’s most active and best-known bluegrass musicians over the past eight decades
- A woman who has promoted bluegrass music through the local airwaves for over 40 years
- A legendary rock music photographer
- Two guitarist virtuosos that have generated international recognition.
