The CDC is warning people about a salmonella outbreak linked to some cantaloupes.
At least two deaths, 117 illnesses and 61 hospitalizations across 34 states, including New York and Massachusetts, have been reported.
People are advised to wash anything that has touched the recalled cantaloupes. Salmonella can cause vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramps and fever.
Symptoms typically start six hours to six days after someone swallows the bacteria.
