The Food and Drug Administration has approved the first at-home test to detect both flu and COVID.

The test uses a nasal swab and takes about 15-minutes to test for COVID-19 and flu.

Other over-the-counter combo tests are currently available under emergency use authorization, but the FDA says that the full approval of this new test is especially important as the country enters the annual flu season.
