New York Attorney General Letitia James is taking action against the Trump administration for its cuts to state health funding.
James announced that she, along with 22 other states, have filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration for “abruptly and unlawfully slashing billions of dollars in vital state health funding.”
They want to end to the cuts of $11 billion worth of funding to prevent destruction of the health system.
These cuts break federal law, jeopardize public health, and will have devastating consequences for communities across the country, James said.
