Research: Wasabi can help memory
Study: Wasabi beneficial to memory
A new study finds that wasabi may be beneficial to short- and long-term memory.
Researchers in Japan studied people between the ages of 60 and 80 who were given the Japanese horseradish for 3 months. There was a 20% increase in memory, language skills and concentration.
Scientists attribute the results to a biochemical compound found in wasabi.
