Thousands of people in the Capital Region could lose health coverage as contract negotiations drag with one major provider.
St. Peter’s Health Partners is currently working to get a new deal with United Healthcare. Now the hospital system is warning people their coverage could lapse as early as July 1. That would affect multiple plans, including Medicare Advantage and certain Medicaid plans.
In an online post, St. Peter’s says it is not getting the support it should from United Healthcare.
