Study: People who exercise more live longer
A new study finds that people who exercise more live longer.
Harvard researchers conducted an analysis of more than 100,000 individuals over a 30-year follow-up period. They found that adults who perform two to four times the currently recommended amount of moderate or vigorous activity per week have a significantly reduced risk of mortality.
The American Heart Association recommends that adults get at least 150 minutes per week of moderate aerobic exercise, or 75-minutes per week of vigorous aerobic exercise or a combination of both.
