A new Tokyo-style bar is set to open in Troy – where you’re not likely to run into a crowd.

Restaurant entrepreneur Vic Christopher plans to open a small sake bar at 8 Second St. in Troy.

Located between Christopher’s Troy Wine Co. and Lucas Confectionery wine bar, the maximum occupancy will be just about a dozen people.

Called Daisuki, which means “like a lot” or “love,” the bar will feature a variety of Japanese whisky and sake.

It was inspired by Christopher’s trips to Japan over the last few years.

Daisuki is set to open next month.

Christopher’s Clark House Hospitality also runs Little Peck’s, and Donna’s in Troy.
