AIM Services – which provides residential and community-based services and care for people with disabilities and traumatic brain injuries in Saratoga County – has a new program.
It’s called STRIVE, which stands for Supportive Techniques for Rebuilding Independence and Vital Experiences. It’s a day program run through AIM. STRIVE is designed to provide an environment where people can learn skills that will help them live their most independent lives.
Participants drive the overall program, designing their own goals and trainings based upon interests.
The STRIVE team is always planning programs for individuals to participate in, said Heather Harple, Assistant Director of Department of Health Services.
