New Glens Falls restaurant has board games to play while you eat

Mom always said, “Don’t play with your food,” but a new Glens Falls tavern encourages it.
Go Play with Your Food, a family-friendly tavern, is now up and running on Glen Street.
Customers can rent a table for $10 a day and can pick from the collection of tabletop games to play with friends and family.
The games range from beginner to advanced-level games that can have up to 20 players.
Food and drinks are available for game players. The menu features flatbread pizzas, sandwiches, salads and appetizers. There’s also a bar featuring beer, wine, seltzers, ciders and mead.

The owners say the idea came during the pandemic, when they spent time enjoying game nights.
Go play with Your Food is open from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and noon to 10 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
