Noise reduction service is expanding its footprint
DDS Acoustical Specialties is a veteran-owned business founded by Dave Gilbert and Steve Soja in 2019.
The business, based in Westfield, Massachusetts, combines Gilbert’s experience with noise reduction products and Soja’s background in HVAC and sheet metal.
DDS provides a variety of noise control and mitigation products and services for industrial, commercial, community and residential buildings. This includes sound barriers, acoustic doors and windows and more.
DDS has even started providing pickleball noise reduction for public and private outdoor courts to quiet the racket for neighbors.
So far in the Capital Region, DDS has worked with churches to treat meeting halls, and it has installed acoustic panels in a classroom to reduce echo and reverberation, which made for a more comfortable environment for events and learning.
