Sunmark Charitable Community Foundation awards $20,000 to nonprofits
The Sunmark Charitable Community Foundation recently celebrated International Credit Union Day by awarding $20,000 to area nonprofits.
The three recipients of the People Helping People recognition include Bring on the Spectrum, Mom Starts Here and Perfect Ten.
The organizations are getting $5,000 each to assist with their missions.
Bring on the Spectrum’s community space offers social, recreational and lifestyle activities for neurodiverse and neurotypical children, teens and adults.
Mom Starts Here walks with Capital Region families along their parenting journey and Perfect Ten’s mission is to empower girls with the courage and skills required to develop and achieve their personal goals.
In addition, the Boys and Girls Club of the Greater Capital Region and NAACP Youth Council will receive $2,500 each.
