Sunmark hopes solar lending program will help homeowners with energy independence

Sunmark Federal Credit Union has launched a new solar lending program.

Homebuyers and homeowners can develop energy independence through the program, with the help of solar panels on their home.

Loan options include a solar loan that gives borrowers the ability to switch to solar with little or no equity in their home, and a mortgage energy loan that allows borrowers purchasing a home or refinancing a mortgage to make upgrades with solar energy installation. 

Both products offer a variety of terms and fixed rates.
