Wrong way driver in Rotterdam charged with DWI
A man is facing a felony DWI charge after allegedly driving the wrong way on I-90 in Rotterdam, State Police said.
Troopers swerved out of the way, they said, and approached the car, which had come to a stop.
The driver, Conor Moan, 25, then got out of the car and ran.
He was arrested a short time later.
Further investigation showed Moan had a revoked driver’s license and was intoxicated, investigators said.
Moan has a previous DWI conviction within the last 10 years.
Moan was released on appearance tickets and is facing multiple charges.
