Albany man allegedly stole phone, viewed home security camera
An Albany man is accused of barging into a home and stealing the resident’s cell phone.
Watervliet Police responded to a report of a home invasion on Sept. 22. Marcos Delgado, 21, allegedly threatened to harm the victim before taking the phone and leaving the area.
Delgado knew the victim, and police said he used the phone to connect to home security camera while police were on scene.
Officers arrested Delgado with the help of Albany Police. Delgado was charged with burglary, robbery and grand larceny. He was arraigned in Watervliet City Court and sent to Albany County Jail.
He is currently on probation for a weapons possession conviction in April 2024.
