Schenectady man arrested in hit-and-run crash
Schenectady man arrested in hit-and-run pedestrian crash
Police have found the man who hit a pedestrian in Schenectady on Monday morning, then took off, they said.
The victim was a boy under 18 years old, according to police.
Peter J. Greisler, 29, was traveling south on Route 7 just after 5 a.m. near Albany Street toward Rotterdam, when he struck the victim, police said.
Greisler was charged with a felony count of leaving the scene of an accident with serious physical injury and a violation of failure to yield the right of way to a pedestrian in the crosswalk.
The victim is currently being treated at Albany Medical Center
