Former Cuomo spokesman believes Harris struck right tone with concession speech

Rich Azzopardi, communications director for former Gov. Andrew Cuomo, spoke with NewsChannel 13’s Subrina Dhammi and Mark Mulholland about Tuesday’s election results.

Azzopardi said that the election was always going to be close, and a thousand things had to go right for Trump. He said he believes Harris struck the right tone during her concession speech in urging people to respect the election results.

He believes both parties are in a competition to have the “bigger tent” and bring in different constituencies of voters.
