Halfmoon man charged in knife assault

A Halfmoon man is accused of stabbing a person.

Fredy A. Brizuela-Santacruz, 32, was allegedly in a fight just after 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Vosburgh Road Mobile Home Park, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.

Brizuela-Santacruz knew the victim, who was taken to Albany Medical Center for treatment.

Brizuela-Santacruz was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned in Malta Town Court and sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail.
