Halfmoon woman accused of stealing over $13,000 from business

A Halfmoon woman is accused of stealing over $13,000 from a business while she worked there.

Christine M. Mainville, 42, was charged with felony grand larceny.

The investigation stemmed from a tip State Police received in late November from a Clifton Park business about missing funds.

Mainville allegedly modified the business records from September 2023 to December 2023 to account for the missing funds, police said.

She was released on an appearance ticket and due in Clifton Park Town Court on Jan. 3.
