State Police issue 8,700+ tickets during DWI, reckless driving crackdown

There were 8,762 tickets issued and 154 DWI arrests during Labor Day weekend statewide, according to New York State Police.

That includes 10 DWI arrests and 206 speeding tickets in the Capital Region.

The Labor Day weekend DWI crackdown initiative targets impaired and reckless drivers during the holiday.
