Bethlehem School District getting ready for all-electric buses
This is a first for Upstate New York. Students at the Bethlehem school district will be riding on electric buses.

The schools were granted a million dollars through a NYSERDA program to help bring the costs of the electric buses closer to the cost of a diesel bus.
The district bought five electric buses. The buses will hit the roads next month.
The state is requiring New York schools to fully electrify their bus fleets by 2035.
