Cambridge first-graders are learning a new skill, and giving back to the community at the same time.
Shae Bentley and Ryan Matteson spent months learning how to knit – making dozens of hats and blankets for premature babies at Albany Medical Center.
Albany Medical Center could use 10 to 17 hats and blankets each month, said the school, so they are hoping to keep this knitting going throughout the school year.
