Hochul announces hundreds of new child care spots across NY state

There are hundreds of new child care spots open at SUNY campus centers across the state.

Gov. Kathy Hochul said there are 200 more spots available at 12 child care centers.

Here in the Capital Region, those spots will be available at SUNY Schenectady Community College.

The expansion of child care is part of the nearly $11 million effort to address child care deserts across the state.
