Open house to introduce high schoolers to medical field

The New Visions: Health Careers program gives students hands-on experience.

If your high school child has ever wondered what it’s like to work in the medical field, they’re encouraged to attend an open house next week.

During the program, students are able to take part in approximately 30 rotations in the hospitals in departments ranging from surgery to outpatient care and even facility operations.

The open house will begin at 9 a.m. at the Career and Technical Education Center – Albany Campus.
