As temperatures continue to heat up, doctors are reminding parents about the dangers of leaving kids in a hot car.
There are many scenarios where this could happen – including not being the one who normally takes your kid to daycare.
To help prevent tragic accidents, one recommendation from experts is leaving something in the back seat to get in the habit of checking to see if you forgot something.
It’s also important to remember it’s not just outside temperatures that are the concern. Even on a 70-degree day, the inside of a car can reach more than 115 degrees.
Finally, if you see something that doesn’t look right, don’t be a bystander. Call police!
