Schenectady County Child Advocacy Center gets $50,000 state grant
New York state is awarding $50,000 to the Schenectady County Child Advocacy Center.
New York state is awarding $50,000 to the Schenectady County Child Advocacy Center.
The center provides a variety of services in a secure environment for children who are victims of abuse.
Services include mental health counseling along with victim advocacy.
A part of the funding will be used to develop new, innovative programs.
The remaining funds will help create an improved space for clinicians to hold counseling with children.
