FULL NEWSCAST: Jan. 20, 1981: Reagan Inaugurated, Hostages Freed

Rachel Tiede introduces our full 11 p.m. newscast from Jan. 20, 1981. It was the day Ronald Reagan was inaugurated into office, and 52 American hostages were released from Iran, after 444 days in captivity.

At the time of this newscast, we were CBS affiliate WAST. We became NBC and WNYT later that year.
