Moreau man admits to raping minor

A Moreau man has admitted to raping a minor in Saratoga Springs.

Terrance Crawford, 38, pleaded guilty in Saratoga County Court on Tuesday to second-degree rape.

He was arrested in February after police received a complaint from the victim’s family. Crawford was having conversations with the child through social media apps, according to police.

Crawford has a 2015 rape conviction in Warren County Court.  

He is scheduled to be sentenced on Sept 10.
